Vancouver Airport Fuel Facility Corporation (VAFFC) - Fuel Truck Offloading Facility Upgrades

The Vancouver Airport Fuel Facility Consortium is proposing upgrades to an existing fuel tank system located at the Vancouver International Airport. The project consists of the construction of a truck unloading facility to receive fuel deliveries into the existing tanks.  One truck unloading position is already in operation. This project will expand the capacity to accommodate one more truck.  The parking and spill containment areas for the facility are already in place. Activities for this project will consist of installation of piping, mechanical equipment and electrical equipment and the operation of receiving fuel from truck deliveries.  The project is located at 5980 Ferguson Road, Richmond BC.

The Vancouver Airport Authority is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. Therefore, the Vancourver Airport Authority may carry out the project, exercise any power, perform any duty or function, or provide finantical assistance to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part.
