Tseycum Childcare and Wellness Centre

The Childcare Centre and Wellness Centre will be a serviced 8,199 sqft one-storey cedar building containing wellness centre rooms, washrooms, storage, laundry, playground, cultural room, administration ofices, kitchen, and gym.  The building will be located northwest of an existing suburb, with a new road providing access.  The Centre will be used by all members of the community from youth to elders and will be instrumental in providing childcare/daycare and community cultural and health services.

Notice of intent to make a determination

Tseycum Childcare and Wellness Centre – Public Comments Invited

 

September 24, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tseycum Childcare and Wellness Centre, located in Tseycum First Nation in North Saanich, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.
