Demolition of Temporary Building 193 in Belmont Park, CFB Esquimalt

Temporary Building 193 at Belmont Park (CFB Esquimalt, Colwood) has come to the end of its life cycle and is to be disposed of. Once drawings and specifications are complete, the building will be demolished by a contractor through Defence Construction Canada. The parking area adjacent to the building will be used as a laydown area during demolition.


Latest update

January 1, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
