Above ground demolition - former Hammond mill

The proposed project

Conwest proposes non intrusive, above ground demolition of certain structures located on the land and water areas fronting the site. These structures currently pose a risk to life and safety and are at risk of vandalism and theft. Proposed for removal are parts of the large building, conveyors and supports located on port authority lease areas. There is no ground disturbance proposed in this application.

Some of the structure straddle the property line. To coordinate this, the applicant has received a demolition permit from Maple Ridge.
