Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant New Outfall - Amendment 06

Metro Vancouver is requesting an extension to the approved project permit PER 17-093, which has an expiry date of December 31, 2023, as more time is needed to complete the Project. The scope of works that remain to be completed includes: 

  • The installation of pre-cast concrete covers over the duckbill valves on the diffuser manifold 
  • Placement of the backfill material and rip rap over the diffuser manifold 
  • Removal of the temporary bulkheads that are in the riser pipe assembly
