Cape Beale Lighthouse Wind Turbine Installation

An impact assessment is required to address potential impacts resulting from the installation of a hybrid power generation system, including solar array structures and wind turbines at the Cape Beale Lighthouse. The project will provide a considerable reduction in diesel fuel consumption as the site's primary power source. Potential impacts to migratory birds, bats, built heritage, archaeological resources, and other valued components will be assessed further through the Basic Impact Assessment process.
