Telus Communications Inc. - New Telecommunications Tower on Esowista No. 3 Reserve, Tofino, BC

Telus Communications Inc. is proposing to construct a new 38.0 meter tall self-support, monopole tower on Esowista Reserve No. 3. The purpose of the proposed tower is to expand Telus' wireless coverage and to provide access to dependable wireless high-speed internet services in the Tla-o-qui-aht community. Cellular antennas will be mounted at the top of the tower. Access to the proposed tower site is via Nuu-Put-Tah-Chilth Road and via a driveway that will extend into Telus' existing compound. The proposed tower may undergo periodic antenna additions and/or replacements.

 

The proposed tower site is located at 49º 04' 41.3292" N, 125º 47' 49.3512" W on the Esowista No. 3 Reserve, Tofino, BC.
