A Dedicated Space for Connection

Malahat Nation will construct a new cultural space to provide and safe and stable place for women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples to engage in cultural programming that serves them and is community-led. The new space will be approximately 1,800 square feet with a flexible set up.

September 15, 2023 – Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
