Parking Lot Resurfacing

The purpose of this project is to address the aging parking area to the rear of the Standards Building. The current parking lot infrastructure is approximately 1,600 metres squared and has numerous potholes, uneven surfaces from numerous patches. The design shall include provisions for phasing where possible to ensure tenant access to the parking lot continues. The scope of the project includes: - Resurface the parking lot area and repair the parking curbs. - Re-paint parking stalls. - Update accessible parking spaces during the repainting and ensure that the latest edition of CSA B-651 is met by all accessible spaces. - Consultant to review existing borehole data and if necessary, conduct a geotechnical review to ensure subgrade is adequate

January 10 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The [Public Services and Procurement Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
