Golden Ears Forcemain (GDEFM) Project

The proposed project

Metro Vancouver proposes to design, construct, and install twin sewer forcemains beneath the Fraser River to connect the new Golden Ears Pump Station, located north of the Fraser River, to the expanded Northwest Langley Wastewater Treatment Plant. This project is a component of a larger long-term servicing plan for Metro Vancouver to divert waste from Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows to an upgraded Northwest Langley Wastewater Treatment Plant (NLWWTP) in the Township of Langley.
