Manhole 13 Storm Water Diversion - Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Limited

The proposed project 

Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Limited proposes to create a larger catchment area to capture all rainwater from the potash storage-building roof, to direct to an existing ocean outfall. The proposed work includes: 

  • Installation of new manholes and catch basins to re-route clean stormwater to the outfall 
  • Removal of existing piping and installation of additional piping and valves to maintain connection to the stormwater collection system 
  • Installation of approximately 260 metres of asphalt curb alongside an existing swale to prevent contaminated water from entering the swale 
  • Any additional related improvements
