Installation of no anchor sign

Metro Vancouver proposes to install one sign on piles on the south bank of the Fraser River, approximately 500 metres west of the Port Mann Bridge. The sign is required to notify marine users of a no anchor zone near the Metro Vancouver Port Mann Water Main crossing No. 2. The sign would be an approximately 1.8-metre-wide aluminum panel and would attach to two 324-millimetre diameter steel piles. Piles would be driven to an approximate depth of 10 metres. Works will be completed with a marine spud derrick equipped with a vibratory hammer or from the upland.
