Maintenance Dredge 8081 River Road, Delta

Envirochem Service Incorporated (the Applicant) is proposing to complete maintenance dredging at 8081 River Road (the Project) in Delta. The Project consists of maintenance dredging within an identical historical polygon of 2500 cubic meters to a design depth of -6.5 meters chart datum. Dredging to be completed using a clamshell and flat or dump scows which would be towed to Point Grey Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Disposal at Sea disposal site under permit. The total volume of dredged material to be less than 4000 cubic meters.

Delta, B.C. – November 19, 2024 – The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and Environment and Climate Change Canada have determined that the proposed Maintenance dredge located at 8081 River Road, Delta is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
