Sunchild Culvert 2 Replacement Project

Sunchild First Nation plans to upgrade a watercourse crossing located on an unnamed tributary to the Baptiste River. The proposed project includes the replacement of four existing multiplate culverts (2700mm Ø x 50m length) with a single open-bottom arch culvert (11023mm x 2448mm x 31040mm). The roadway in the vicinity of the culvert will also be upgraded.


Latest update

April 21, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada and Transport Canada determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
