Emerald Lake Road Rock Scaling

The project involves direct and indirect slope stabilization works, including scaling, removal of scaled material from ditches, and tree debris removal along the upper slopes of Emerald Lake Road. This project is required to address engineer identified areas along the Category 4 road between the Trans Canada Highway and Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake is popular for visitors, with overnight and day users frequently driving the road and stopping. Slope stabilization is required as routine maintenance to this corridor to provide increased road safety to staff and visitors using these areas.
