Parks Canada Agency Cascade Landfill Remediation

The scope of work includes remediation of an old domestic and commercial landfill to prevent exposure of waste and contaminant leachate into the environment. The footprint of the project is approximately 174,000 m2 across the Landfill. Project activities include: (1) Importing, transporting and placement of soil capping materials (2) installation of erosion and sediment controls, planting trees and shrubs (3) constructing wildlife fence around site perimeter; (4) maintain and promote restoration/vegetation success; and (5) provide a report documenting the activities and laboratory results.
