Stoney North Morley Waterline Tie In Project

The proposed waterline in Stoney Nation is a 3.8km linear development that will be located 2km northwest of the Goodstoney Rodeo grounds. The waterline will be adjacent to existing roads, cross wetlands, Joshua creek, and undeveloped lands. The wetlands will be directional drilled and areas adjacent to the road will be open cut as required to penetrate gravel and rocky conditions.


Latest update

June 24, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) until July 24, 2024 respecting the determination.
