Chiniki First Nation

Chiniki First Nation is proposing to build fifteen (15) new homes. The homes consist of a single storey building. The average total project building area is approximately 1672 sq ft/155 sq m. Project activities include clearing and grubbing, the installation of access driveway/parking, construction of foundations, backfill and grading, utilities and services including sewer and water piping as well as power and communication lines.

04-28-2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
