Snake Lake Reservoir Expansion Project

The Eastern Irrigation District is proposing to expand the Snake Lake Reservoir located approximately 30 kilometres northwest of Brooks, Alberta. As proposed, the Snake Lake Reservoir Expansion Project would increase the reservoir's water storage capacity by approximately 65 million cubic metres. The project is proposed to support the irrigation of lands that currently have no or limited reservoir support within the district.
