Blood Tribe Irrigation Infrastructure Expansion Project

Blood Tribe is proposing an expansion of their agricultural irrigation infrastructure system. The Expansion Project consists of adding approximately 3,400 acres of new irrigation adjacent to the existing irrigated lands consisting of pumps, pressure supply lines and 22 pivots drawing water from the existing gravity lateral pipelines.


Latest update

February 11, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/133847 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
