New Fibre Installation

Tough Country Communications plans to install underground fiber optic cabling, for Internet purposes, to all residential homes in the town of Brocket (Piikani), AB. The project involves the installation of approximately 9.24 km of underground fiber optic cable from intersection of Highway 785 and 15 Avenue to the homes on the following Streets and Avenues:

  • 10 Avenue
  • 12 Avenue
  • 14 Avenue
  • 15 Avenue
  • 16 Avenue
  • 17 Avenue
  • 10 Street
  • 14 Street
  • 19 Street
  • 20 Street
  • 22 Street

The cable is to be buried by directional drilling, trenching, or using existing conduits, or a combination of these methods in existing roadway alignments.
