Electric Vehicle Charging Station Installation at Kingsgate Border Crossing

The purpose of this project is to install two level-two electric vehicle charging stations that provide access to a total of four 40A, 208V chargers in the east parking lot. The stations will be connected to the existing electrical infrastructure through the addition of a new breaker in the existing panel located in the commercial building electrical room.

To support the new charging station kiosk, a concrete pad will be installed and underground conduit and cabling will be run via trenching to the two electric vehicle charging stations. Existing trees and root systems are not expected to be impacted as part of this project.

The eastern parking lot is approximately 1,900 square metres. In total, the new conduits will require approximately 38 metres of trenching. The Site does not have a history of contaminated soils.
