Telecommunication Infrastructure Replacement - CFB Suffield

The Department of National Defence at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield is to execute a project to replace existing Telecommunications Infrastructure within the developed area of the Ammunition Compound in Summer 2020. The physical work encompasses replacement of existing buried communications cable with a maintenance hole system. The new infrastructure will consist of approximately 5,900 m of underground communications ducts (pathways) connected by 20 maintenance holes (MH's).


Latest update

June 22, 2020— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
