Town of Banff 26DP34 134 Muskrat Street Addition of Detached Garage

The homeowner of 134 Muskrat Street has proposed a new detached garage at the rear of the property on an existing gravel parking area. The garage will have a 12-inch-thick slab-on-grade foundation. Its approximate dimensions will be 22 x 18 ft and 11 ft tall.

July 3 2026 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until August 2 2026 respecting that determination.
