Sundancer Solar Phase 2 Project

Phase 2 expansion activities will consist of the construction of the power plant; including bi-facial solar panels and their accompanying racking, piles, inverters and cabling. The project footprint for this project is 1, 641 m2 and will occur on developed land. No tree clearing and/or grubbing will be needed for the construction of the project.

Latest update

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is proposing funding for the Sundancer Solar phase 2 project. Before proceeding, NRCan must decide whether the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

In order to guide its decision, NRCan is publishing this Notice of Intent and invites the public to comment on the potential adverse effects of the project on the environment. All comments received will be considered public information. For more information on the public nature of your comments, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.
