Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation Youth Transitional House Project

Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation Plans to construct a youth transitional home on lot 96 of the nation, as well as a road leading to the home from lot 97. Both lots are currently surounded by dense forest and are more than 700m from the closest body of water.

March 28, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
