Xplornet Telecommunications Tower Project

Xplornet Telecommunications Inc. is proposing the construction and operation of a 29.9 metre tall telecommunications tower to replace an existing tower, located in Alberta Beach, Alberta and approximately 110 metres southeast of the shore of Lac Ste. Anne. As proposed, the Xplornet Telecommunications Tower Project would occupy an area of 20.35 square metres of previously disturbed land.

December 12, 2019 - The Minister of Environment and Climate Change has determined that the Xplornet Telecommunications Tower Project proposed by Xplornet Telecommunications Inc. does not warrant designation under the Impact Assessment Act. The reasons for the Minister’s determination are provided in the Minister’s response.
