Paul First Nation Driveway Repairs Project

Paul First Nation is planning to repair and upgrade 42 identified driveways impacted by poor drainage conditions resulting in impassable conditions following precipitation events and seasonal snowmelt. The use of geosynthetics or other stabilizing products may be implemented to stabilize and reduce the need for imported granular material. Driveways will be repaired to a "pre-damaged condition" and will require the stripping of existing materials, transportation of new materials to site, construction of driveways, and improvements to drainage. An additional 10 m on average on either side of the existing roadways may be cleared/graded to support construction activities. However, in some area, up to 30 m may be cleared to facilitate construction activities and other road improvement structures. Where possible, driveways will be constructed to 300 mm above the known high-water mark.
