The Proposed Project

The Dialog company proposes to construct a Shell service station on Edmonton International Airport lands that will support the planned growth of the developing area.

The service station will be located at the Edmonton International Airport on 5,640 square meters of land. The convenience store and restaurant are planned to be approximately 7 meters in height and cover approximately 211 and 167 square meters respectively. Additionally, there will be a separate car wash facility that is 114 square meters along with a covered area for 3 gas pumps (6 lanes). There will be 23 parking stalls (including EV charging units) on a paved parking lot that is included in the overall 5,640 square meters. The station will be complimented by a National Brand Quick Drive-Thru Service Restaurant. The entire footprint for the project is located on previously disturbed lands. There will be no significant noise generated by the facility.

During construction, there will be added traffic, large trucks and equipment generating construction-related noise. Noise generated is not predicted to create impacts as the project site is surrounded by commercial development at the airport.
