Whitefish Lake First Nation #128 Waste Transfer Station

Whitefish Lake First Nation #128 intends to construct a Waste Transfer Station to meet the community's solid waste needs. The proposed project will include an attendant's office, a prefabricated vehicle garage, a saw tooth retaining wall, lock block bunkers, and a chain link perimeter fence. Activities to complete the proposed project include vegetation clearing, site grading, retaining wall and concrete pad construction, and fence installation.

December 13, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
