Heart Lake First Nation - Lift Station Replacement and Sanitary Sewer Line Install

Heart Lake First Nation is proposing the replacement of the sanitary lift station which currently services the community. The land area proposed for the replacement is immediately adjacent (south) to the existing infrastructure. In addition to construction of a new lift station, a new sanitary sewer line will be installed to service the community centre and administration buildings within the core area.


Latest update

October 28, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
