Wabasca Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project

Bigstone Cree Nation proposes to construct an expansion to the water treatment plant building in Wabasca, Alberta. A portion of the existing water treatment plant will be repurposed, and another portion will be demolished. A new raw water storage reservoir, as well as modifications to the existing raw water supply piping, will also be included in the proposed project. New distribution mains will be installed to connect the existing water distribution system to the new water treatment plant. Some of the proposed activities will include topsoil stripping, excavation, building construction, cleanup, and topsoil spreading and seeding.
