Fort McMurray First Nation New Housing Construction Project

Fort McMurray First Nation is planning to construct 6 homes, 4 are replacements for unfit living conditions and 2 are new builds. New electric, gas, water and septic will be included in the project works at all units. Demolition will be needed for the replacement locations. Each unit footprint is 1260 square metres. 


Latest update

January 2, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
