Frog Lake CFS Equine Centre

Frog Lake is building a 5000sqm equine facility with an indoor horse training and riding area, wrap around services and an interconnected walkway to a separate building for assembly occupancy. The project includes fenced pastures for the horses in the summer, medicine garden, fruit trees, and community garden, as well as cultural grounds. Six transition homes and one emergency home are part of the development. 


Latest update

June 4, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) until July 4, 2024 respecting the determination.
