2607 & 2609 Fire Route 14B, Chemong Lake, Selwyn - Dredge

This is a joint project between two properties. The overall intent of the project is to dredge an area 8 m x 20 m. The present depth of the dredge area is 0.25 m, and shall be dredged to a depth of 1-2 m.
The area was dredged approximately 20 years ago. Sediment buildup has since limited the boat access to the docks in recent years.
The dredge shall be completed by an excavator from land, or on ice. A turbidity curtain shall be installed around the work area.
Dredge material shall be collected via dump trucks and disposed of at a farm property, located 1 km from the work site.
This project will be assessed with a Basic Impact Assessment (BIA).
