Port of Oshawa - Miller Salt Brine Tank Removal

Miller Paving Limited operates a salt brine business at the Port of Oshawa selling brine for winter road safety applications.  Miller is proposing the removal of an existing aboveground salt brine storage tank (Tank 10) located within an established industrial area of the port. The tank is approximately 22.4 metres in diameter and 12.2 meters in height and is no longer required for operations. The proposed work includes demolition and removal of the aboveground metal tank structure and associated components, off-site recycling and disposal of demolition materials, and site clean-up following completion of the work. The existing tank floor will remain in place and no replacement tank or new infrastructure is proposed as of now. The project is limited to the removal of existing infrastructure within a previously disturbed industrial area.
