Trent-Severn Waterway Durham Regional Road 50 Bridge

Rehabilitation of the bridge including: - Complete deck removal and replacement - Reconstruction of new concrete curbs with the deck replacement, including new open steel railing. Reconstruction of a portion of the wingwalls. - Jacking of the superstructure at the abutments, repairs to concrete girders. - Installation of new steel beam guide rail. - Installation of concrete curb and gutter on the approaches, including curb outlets with rip-rap protection on the embankments. - Asphalt paving of bridge approaches. - Restoration of the south abutment slope and placement of rock protection.

24 May 2020 - The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
