Chippewas of Georgina Island - Rehabilitation of Watermains

The project will rehabilitate watermains in the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation in Ontario. The work involves upgrading approximately 1,960 metres of watermain along Chief Joseph Snake Road, and restoring and reconnecting all water services. The project will fund improvements to transmission pipes, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure.
