Parking Lot Repaving at Gateway Postal Facility Mississauga, ON

This project will involve the rehabilitation and re-pavement of approximately 8,150 m² of the existing parking lot at the Gateway Postal Facility in Mississauga. The existing parking surface is showing signs of wear and requires rehabilitation to maintain safe and efficient site operations. The work will include removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement, pavement markings, and associated site improvements. Construction staging will occur within the existing parking lot and will not extend beyond the current developed footprint. The project site is located within an existing urbanized and developed area. Wood Creek Park is located approximately 1.13 km west of the project site, and a watercourse is located approximately 1.2 km east of the site. Work will be staged in a phased approach.

August 7, 2026  – Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until September 7, 2026 respecting that determination.
