Parking Lot Repaving at Postal Station Pickering , ON

This project will involve the rehabilitation and re-pavement of approximately 1,662 m² of the existing parking lot at PS Pickering in Pickering, ON. The existing parking surface is showing signs of wear and requires rehabilitation to maintain safe and efficient site operations. The work will include removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement, pavement markings, and associated site improvements. Construction staging will occur within the existing parking lot and will not extend beyond the current developed footprint. The project site is located within an existing urbanized and developed area. West Duffin Creek (which has both vegetation and a watercourse) is located approximately 216 meters northwest of project site and there is also a watercourse approximately 200 meters north of project site.

September 1, 2026 – Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until October 1, 2026 respecting that determination..
