MBQ Flood Impacted Property Rehabilitation

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) are a Mohawk community within Hastings County, Ontario approximately 200km east of Toronto. They control the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, which is a 7,362.5 ha  Mohawk Indian reserve on the Bay of Quinte in southeastern Ontario, Canada, east of Belleville and immediately to the west of Deseronto.

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) are proposing to rehabilitate a residential area affected by a flood along Bay of Quinte Shoreline spanning west to east 44.178897, -77.243944 to 44.188564, -77.059760. This project will include in-water/shoreline work as well as the possibility of encounter species-at-risk in addition to the restoration of the residential spaces.
