Soils Remediation – Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. 4 Canadian Division Support Group (4 CDSG) Environment Services, Garrison Petawawa, is proposing the environmental-compliance driven remediation of contaminated soils in a graveled parking and vehicle/equipment storage compound directly south of 80 Montgomery Road (Building BB-130). Soils characterized as exceeding applicable Federal soil quality guidelines will be removed from the site to a licensed receiving facility.

September 9, 2026 — The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
