Construction of Boat Launches- Garrison Petawawa

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. Real Properties Operations Detachment Petawawa at Garrison Petawawa is proposing to construct two cast-in-place slab boat launch areas on the shore of Brennan Lake at Garrison Petawawa. These boat launches are intended to permit the deployment of various types of pontoon bridging sections to train 2 Canadian Engineer Regiment personnel in their deployment and recovery.

Latest update

February 2, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
