Pad A Demolition at Building T-126 at CFB Borden

The Department of National Defence (DND) Real Property Operations proposes to demolish Pad A at Building T-126, due to the aging and inadequate infrastructure that will no longer be used. The estimated gross area of Pad A at Building T-126 is 2,133 m2. The demolition will take place at 100 Ramillies Road on Canadian Forces Base Borden, approximately 4.7 km southwest of Angus, Ontario. Construction is tentatively anticipated to begin no sooner than the summer of 2022, with site use commencing in fall 2022.

April 16, 2021— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
