Parking Lot, Watermain and Stormwater Management Upgrades at NRC's Montreal Road Campus

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is proposing upgrades to the parking lot, the watermain, and the stormwater management system at building M54 on the NRC Montreal Road Campus, Ottawa, Ontario.

The project will include the replacement of aging infrastructure including replacing watermains and storm drainage, the replacement of the parking lot and the upgrade of the sidewalk to meet accessibility needs. The infrastructure upgrades will overall improve drainage on site.


Latest update

June, 1, 2026 – The authorities intend to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the NRC is inviting public comments until July 1, 2026, respecting that determination.
