YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel - Extension of Irénée-Vachon street

The project consists in extending the Irénée-Vachon street to enable the connection of the new Lion Électrique Campus to the road network. This street is located on lot number 6243516 ptie, in the west section of the YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel site. The layout of the new section covers an area of approximately 450m².

March 18, 2022 - Aéroports de Montréal has determined that the project to extend rue Irénée-Vachon is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects by applying the mitigation measures planned for the project. This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors: technically and economically feasible mitigation measures; community knowledge; comments received from the public; and implications for the rights of indigenous peoples. The mitigation measures taken into account for this determination are primarily based on the following components of the physical environment: air quality; water quality; soil quality; the flora and fauna present. The mitigation measures identified to mitigate the environmental impacts will be implemented by the developer. Thus, the City of Mirabel can carry out the project and Aéroports de Montréal can exercise its powers to allow the project to be carried out.
