Signature Innovation Project (SIP), Villages Halt

This project aims to create an innovative route connecting the seven municipalities in the region, in the form of an immersive and interactive cultural recreational tourism circuit. Its goal is to [RE]DISCOVER iconic sites and distinctive structures that reflect the region's identity, marked by the presence of water.

As part of the SIP, one of the sites targeted for development is the Halte des Villages, located in Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague.

The existing developments will be enhanced to allow for:

  • A development that finds a way to commemorate the important canal digging project on agricultural land.
  • Making this site a gathering place inspired by La Cale, La Buvette, Barabas, or L'Embouchure.
  • Creating a tasting area with music, games, entertainment, etc.)
