Regional Assessment of the St. Lawrence River Area

A Regional Assessment of the St. Lawrence River Area will be conducted to better understand the potential effects of past, present and future developments. The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada and Indigenous partners are jointly leading the Regional Assessment, and will provide opportunities for Indigenous communities and organizations, non-governmental and governmental organizations and the public to participate in a meaningful way to determine appropriate activities, outcomes and boundaries. The Regional Assessment will help inform, among other things, future project-specific federal impact assessments and decisions in this area.
