Repair of masonry covering - Maison de la Petite-Ferme, Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area, Quebec

The Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS) of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) wishes to carry out repair work on the cladding of the Petite-Ferme house in the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area.

The Maison de la Petite-Ferme was designated a "Classified" Federal Heritage Building in 1992 by the Federal Heritage Buildings Review Office (FHBRO) and is part of the Petite-Ferme-du-Ferme National Historic Site of Canada. -Cap Tourmente. Cracks and deformations in its exterior solid masonry walls are currently present on the exterior cladding and these could compromise the physical integrity and heritage value of the building if they are not repaired promptly and adequately.

The work started in September 2023 must be extended to summer 2024.
