25 kV Electrical Network Protection Increase

This project involves work execution as well as labor supply, materials and tools necessary to increase CFB Bagotville electrical network capacity. The work involves, without being limited to: the main connection point and the Hydro Quebec relief line modifications; a medium voltage circuit breakers addition; the measuring system modification; the overhead and the underground electrical infrastructure addition; the electrical substation modification and expansion; the poles and electrical equipment installation; the fencing demolition and installation; a culvert extension; the ground excavation and leveling; an access road construction; the underground cables decommissioning; as well as residual construction materials and demolition residues disposal. Contaminated soils will be disposed off-site and granular material will be imported to backfill the excavations.

February  2, 2022— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
